TRIPS
Girls Day Out: Rock Climbing & Rappelling
Throw those excuses to the side ladies and grab your best gal friends. We'll leave early and spend all day learning how to outdoor rock climb and rappel at Goshen Pass. Bring a bag lunch, snacks and lots of water. Please call Staunton Parks & Recreation for a recommended attire list. All equipment provided.

PROGRAMS
The Awakening Committee Presents: "What is Happening to Your Child's Health?"
This presentation will examine factors that inhibit learning, health, normal development as well as examples of how our health has been stolen. The transformation of food and how industrialized reconstituted and refined foods rob your children of micronutrients necessary for proper immune functions will also be covered. Sewing Basics
Would you like to learn how to use a sewing machine and sew on a button? In this program, learn basic sewing terminology and equipment, how to thread and use a sewing machine. Having your own sewing machine is not required, but you can bring yours to learn on.

Every Wednesday at the Gypsy Hill Gym during January and February, Any student in grades 6-8 may participate in an array of intramural activities from 4pm-6pm. Some activities may include: kickball, dodgeball, basketball, bowling, skating or wiffleball.

Staunton Girl's Softball Sign-ups
The Recreation Department will be taking sign-ups for the spring season of girls softball starting Feb 1. Teams will be formed based on the following age requirements: 8 & under, 10 & under and 12 & under. You may apply to be a coach as well.
