STAUNTON, VA (02/15/2011)(readMedia)-- The Staunton Parks and Recreation Department is now taking sign-up for the following summer activities:

Staunton Girl's Softball Sign-ups

The Staunton Recreation department will be taking sign-ups for the spring season of girls softball thru March 1st.. 8U, 10U and 12U teams will be formed. You may be 13 in the 7th grade also. You may submit to be a coach as well. Fee is $45 per child. If you are interested in serving on the girl's softball board please contact us as well. 540-332-3945

Co-ed Adult Spring Outdoor Soccer League

The league is open to anyone 16 years and up to participate in 11 on 11 soccer to be played at the Montgomery Hall Park Soccer Complex on Thursdays and Sundays. Rosters are limited to 20 players any combination of male/female players. League fee is $350 per team. Deadline is March 15th to enter. Please call the Staunton Recreation Department @ 540-332-3945

Registration for Camp Staunton 2011 (Summer Playground) begins on March 1st along with Babe Ruth and Kiwanis Baseball and Men's and Women's Softball. The fee for Camp Staunton 2011 will remain the same as last year $540 for all 8 weeks if paid in advance or $80/week.
