Staunton Parks and Recreation is Moving and Flowing with Toddlers and Adults
Classes encourages physical movement for improved health
STAUNTON, VA (09/09/2010)(readMedia)-- The Staunton Parks and Recreation Department in an effort to encourage physical activity for improved health is offering the following classes to begin next week. The Toddlers Dance class has been requested by the public for quite a while now and an abundance of exuberant toddlers are expected. The class size is limited so register as soon as possible.
Vinyasa Flow Yoga
A flowing style yoga class linking yoga poses together to bring balance and harmony to our bodies as we move our bodies with our breath. This type of Yoga flow features cardiovascular conditioning, flexibility, strength and relaxation. Leave feeling relaxed and an overall feeling of well being. Multi-level class, please wear comfortable clothes, bring a yoga mat & water.
Instructor: Ginger LeMasurier
5:30pm-6:30pm, Wednesdays starting September 15 at MHPA
Price: $33 per 8 sessions, or $6 per class

Discovering Dance
Designed as an introduction to dance for ages 3 to 5 years old. By combining creative movement with basic ballet steps, we will use our imaginations and have tons of fun! This class will help children develop a sense of balance and coordination, improve motor skills and encourage creative expression in a playful atmosphere.
Instructor: Jessica Burgess
6pm-6:45pm, eight week session on Tuesdays starting September 14 at MHPA
Price: $40
