Stephanie Brewer of Kingwood earns undergraduate degree from Washington University in St. Louis
ST. LOUIS, MO (07/16/2010)(readMedia)-- Stephanie Brewer, daughter of Julie Brewer of Kingwood, Texas (77339) and David Brewer, received an undergraduate degree from Washington University in St. Louis on May 21. Brewer graduated Magna Cum Laude with a Bachelor of Arts in Psychology and Spanish from the College of Arts & Sciences.
Brewer was among the 2,706 students who received degrees at the university's 149th Commencement ceremony, which was held in Brookings Quadrangle on campus. U.S. Secretary of Energy Steven Chu, PhD, delivered the Commencement address. Chu received an honorary doctor of science.
Brewer was recognized for graduating Psi Chi, a psychology honor society. Brewer is a 2006 graduate of the Kingwood High School in Kingwood, Texas.

Twenty-two Nobel laureates have been associated with Washington University, with nine doing the major portion of their pioneering research here.
