SUMMERDALE, PA (12/19/2012)(readMedia)-- Stephen Juliano, of Mechanicsburg, Pa., and a web content specialist at Central Penn College, was presented with the 4.0 Customer Service Award at the college's recent Years of Service and Recognition event. The new award is given to a Central Penn employee who consistently demonstrates excellent customer service and exemplifies living the brand for their coworkers, supervisors, students, faculty, staff or the public through one or more of the following:

• greeting customers with a cordial and welcoming manner;
• making the customer feel important and appreciated;
• ensuring all individuals are treated fairly, with courtesy and respect;
• being an effective listener to determine the customer's needs;
• transforming complaints into valuable feedback; and/or
• successfully meeting a customer's needs.
