Stop Schenectady gun violence

ALBANY, NY (09/26/2016)(readMedia)-- Albany Enough anti gun violence program will pick up any illegal hand gun turned in by Schenectady residents. Starting Tuesday September 27th. through Sunday October 2nd. Any illegal hand gun or any assult rifles can be picked up and a gift card to Crossgates Mall will be given for every weapon turned in.

This year the Enough anti gun violence program has had great sucess in taking illegal hand guns off the street and the results are in with less shootings and killings in Albany.

This new program will pick up any illegal hand gun called in, this program has never been done before and will help with gun violence in Schenectady.

When: Tuesday September 27th. through Sunday October 2nd.

What: Illegal handgun and assult rifle call to pickup gun buy back.

Where: This new program is mobil and will be run out of the Victory Christian Church of Albany

How: Anyone with an illegal handgun can call 857-0726 get an appointment and recieve a pick up and a gift card to the mall.

With the latest shooting in schenectady the Enough program has decided to launch this new program to get as many illegal hand guns off the streets of schectady.

The Enough program states not a whole lot is being done to get these guns off our streets and we need to be creative in getting as many illegal guns off the streets. The Enough program has been getting more and more illegal hand guns off the Albany streets this year. With no city or state funding the program is funded by donations from church members and help from Albany District Attorney.
