ALBANY, NY (08/20/2014)(readMedia)-- This Thursday night at 112th. street park Victory Christian Church will hold a prayer gathering for the city and the Safe City Initiative.

STOP THE VIOLENCE WALK & SAFE CITY INITIATIVE

When: This Sat .August 23rd.

Where: Begins at Pizza Hut 5th. Ave. Walk to 112th. St. Park. 1 to 4 Safe City Iniative City wide event.

Who: Victory Christian Church joining with Stop the Violence Walk organizers will join forces to begin to unite community to help stop the violence. Victory will hold one of their large city events that will host many community leaders like Shannon Williamson who lost one of her family members. Sending a message of hope and gathering those who are willing to get involved. This all free event will be supported by donations from the Troy and Lansingburgh businesses.

Their will be special prayer at the 112th. St. Park Thursday night 6:30 P.M. for the Event.

Saturdays Event will include Music-food-free bike repair-water slide-super fire engine slide-bounce houses-free giveaways that include bikes school supplies gift cards for adults and much more. Many will take the stage to share stop the violence messages.

Victory Church believes through prayer unity and community effort this violence can be stoped.
