Student Receives Award of Distinction from the North-American Interfraternity Conference
WEST HAVEN, CT (05/08/2013)(readMedia)-- University of New Haven student, Kenneth Hall '13 of Bath, ME. is the recipient of the 2013 Undergraduate Award of Distinction given by the North-American Interfraternity Conference (NIC). The honor recognizes a fraternity member who has used his experiences to develop as a leader. The NIC represents 75 national and international fraternities.
"He has truly raised the bar in regards to leadership and brotherhood," a nominator wrote. "His selfless actions are contagious."
A business management and music industry double major, Hall has compiled a 3.92 GPA. He is the president of the Sigma Alpha Epsilon fraternity and is an active volunteer with Give2TheTroops. Last summer he was named the "True Gentleman of the Year" at the national Sigma Alpha Epsilon's 77th John O. Moseley Leadership School.
After graduation, Hall will continue as a financial representative at Northwest Mutual. He is also assisting with New Tech Haven, a University-owned business incubator and technology transfer center. He plans to pursue an MBA in the future.
