Student Trial Lawyers Association

Georgia State University College of Law extends its congratulations to the newest mock trial team of the Student Trial Lawyers Association for the 2023-2024 academic year. This signifies STLA's commitment to providing students with real courtroom experience, facilitated by professional attorneys and participation in national competitions, bridging the gap between classroom learning and practical legal skills. Notably, many graduates who have been part of STLA go on to successful careers as litigators and district attorneys.

In 2020, Georgia State University achieved a remarkable 21st ranking in the U.S. News & World Report for its outstanding Trial Advocacy Programs. This recognition is well-deserved, as the Student Trial Lawyers Association has a proven track record of excellence, boasting an impressive record of 16 national championships, 15 regional championships, and seven second-place finishes in national competitions.
