Students Intern with Dining Services Kelp, Fish Initiative

Two Eastern Connecticut State University students interned with Eastern's dining services provider, Chartwells, on a major project meant to promote underused foods from the ocean. Eastern along with three partnering universities received two Food Vision Prizes of $250,000 each from the Henry P. Kendall Foundation to increase the consumption of kelp and underutilized fish on their respective campuses.
