ANNVILLE, PA (06/27/2016)(readMedia)-- Prospective students are invited to Discovery Day at Lebanon Valley College for a tour of campus, meetings with faculty and current students, and exploration of programs and student life. The Office of Admission is hosting two Discovery Day opportunities this summer, Friday, July 15, and Friday, August 12. Registration is available at www.lvc.edu/admission or by calling 717-867-6181.

Ranked second in the North Region of U.S. News & World Report's "Great Schools, Great Prices" list, Lebanon Valley College offers innovative programs and customizable learning experiences that lead to intellectual and personal transformations. New and revamped majors include audio & music production, computer & data science, art & visual culture, analytical finance, international business, accounting/MBA (accelerated), and communication sciences & disorders/speech-language pathology (B.S./M.S.).

Discovery Day is ideal for high school students, as well as current college students who may be interested in transferring to The Valley. Students and their families learn about the application process and scholarships, financial aid, life at The Valley, study abroad, residential life, and student activities. Lunch is provided and the College Store is open for visitors to purchase LVC gear.

To supplement your academic experience, there are more than 95 organizations for students to join, including music and theater groups, sororities, and fraternities. Many of these organizations and clubs are entirely student-run, including MiniTHON, Relay for Life, Global Education Club, and numerous others. The College also has 25 NCAA athletic teams and extensive intramural, recreational, and personal fitness opportunities.

Lebanon Valley College is a private, coeducational college founded in 1866 and dedicated to the liberal arts.
