AIKEN, SC (04/24/2018) Just a month or so before graduation, students had a chance to meet potential employers during the University of South Carolina Aiken's annual spring career fair.

"A career fair is a unique networking opportunity for college students," said Lauren Jones White. "As an alumni of USCA, I was glad to be back to represent my employer WRDW-WAGT and meet eager students looking for career opportunities."

"I spoke with many students who seemed excited and ready to start their next chapter after college."

More than 70 organizations participated.

The USC Aiken Office of Career Services sponsors the career fair. This event provides Pacers opportunities to learn about full-time positions and internships in a variety of fields; part-time and summer jobs; and graduate programs in law, business, public administration, among others.

"I know that USCA prepares their students for life after college, and I hoped to showcase that for any nervous students looking for job opportunities," said White, Class of 2012, who graduated with a fine arts major and a communication minor.
