Students Participate in Freshwater Research Initiative

Twenty students are conducting research with faculty this summer as part of the Freshwater Research Initiative, aimed at assessing the health of the Susquehanna River, its wildlife and surrounding tributaries. Funded by a $2.5 million grant from the Richard King Mellon Foundation, the initiative is managed by Susquehanna University, and its Freshwater Research Laboratory, also funded by the grant, serves as a hub for partners to conduct their research.
