Students Return from Studies in Sweden

Seventeen students recently studied in Sweden as part of the university's Global Opportunities (GO) program. GO Sweden allows students to study modern medicine in a land with a cultural heritage that can be traced back to the Vikings.

GO Sweden allows students to study modern medicine in a land with a cultural heritage that can be traced back to the Vikings. By observing health care in Sweden, students learn about the continuum of world health care and the dynamic relationship between culture and the delivery of health care. The trip includes travel to Stockholm, the capital of Sweden and home of the Nobel Prize, exploration of a 16th-century castle and a medieval town, and visits to Uppsala University, one of the oldest universities in Europe, and the Swedish archipelago.
