AIKEN, SC (06/01/2018) East Aiken School of the Arts has selected the artwork of 12 standout student artists in K-5th grade, which will be displayed during a six-month rotating art show at the University of South Carolina Aiken's Student Activities Center.

Student artwork will be displayed on the first floor of the Student Activities Center near Starbucks. Art pieces were selected based on a detailed project rubric and the individual artisanship of the students themselves.

"We are very excited for our students to have the opportunity to have their artwork be displayed so prominently at USC Aiken," commented Tamara Smith, Visual Arts Teacher at East Aiken School of the Arts.

"This is a huge accomplishment that will allow our students to experience a college campus and also help them build the foundation for their visual art portfolio. We absolutely love showing off our students' work in the community, and we are grateful for this partnership with USC Aiken."
