Sugar Grove's Lisa Rodriguez named NACC Women's Indoor Track and Field Student-Athlete of the week

AURORA, IL (01/29/2014)(readMedia)-- Aurora University freshman Lisa Rodriguez (Sugar Grove, Ill./Aurora Central Catholic H.S.) was named the Northern Athletics Collegiate Conference Women's Indoor Track and Field Student-Athlete of the Week for the second time in 2014.

Rodriguez collected a pair of second-place finishes at the NCAA-NAIA Challenge at Olivet Nazarene University last weekend. She finished the 60-meter dash in 8.10 seconds and 200-meter dash in 26.45 seconds. She also was part of the Spartans' 4x200-meter relay team that won the event, setting an AU record with a time of 1:47.89.

Next action for the Spartan women's indoor track and field teams comes on Saturday, February 1 when they travel to Olivet Nazarene University. Meet time is set for noon in Bourbonnais, Ill.
