Sugar Grove's Lisa Rodriguez named NACC Women's Outdoor Track and Field Student-Athlete of the Week

AURORA, IL (04/10/2014)(readMedia)-- Aurora University freshman Lisa Rodriguez (Sugar Grove, Ill./Aurora Central Catholic H.S.) was named the Northern Athletics Collegiate Conference Women's Outdoor Track and Field Student-Athlete of the Week.

Rodriguez helped lead the Spartans to a second place finish at the Wheaton College Invitational last weekend, winning the 200-meter dash (26.08 seconds), finishing third in the 100-meter (12.70) and participating in the winning 4x100 relay team (49.72). The times in the 200-meter dash and 4x100 relay set AU school records.

Next action for the Spartan women's track and field team comes on Friday, April 11 when they compete in the Chicagoland Outdoor Championships at Lewis University. Meet time is set for 9:00 a.m. in Romeoville, Ill.
