Summer Athletics Dominate Park Programs in Staunton

STAUNTON, VA (05/14/2010)(readMedia)-- Staunton Recreation Department will operate 8 leagues this Summer.

Adult Spring Soccer League- League is open to all players 16+ to participate in 11 on 11 soccer to be played at the Montgomery Hall Park complex on Tuesdays and Sundays. Rosters are limited to 20 players any combo of male/female and entry fee is $350 per team. Registration is now open. Deadline to enter is May 26th .

Adult Kickball League- Open to all players 16+ to participate in 9 on 9 kickball league that will play on Monday and Tuesday evenings in Montgomery Hall Park. You can play in competitive or recreational divisions. $125 per team. Registration is now open. Deadline to enter is May 26th

Co-ed Church League Softball- Open to all players 16+ to participate in on Friday evenings at Montgomery Hall Park. Cost is $200 per team. Registration is now open. Deadline to enter is May 26th

55+ Men's Softball League - This recreational league is open to all players 55+ to play on Thursday evenings in Montgomery Hall Park. You may sign up as an individual or as a team. Registration is now open. Deadline to enter is June 4th Price is $20 per person.

Fall Instructional Baseball - This instructional league is for ages 6-12 years. Six year olds must have played one year of T-ball. There will be an approximate 12 game schedule with no playoffs. Singups begin June 1 - register by August 6th. Price is $20/child.
