Summit Resident Honor at College of Saint Elizabeth Scholarship Gala

Kevin Cummings, president and CEO of Investor's Bank, was honored by the College of Saint Elizabeth at the annual Scholarship Gala.

MORRISTOWN, NJ (05/08/2013)(readMedia)-- More than 240 alumnae/i and supporters of the College of Saint Elizabeth filled the ballroom of the Madison Hotel in Morristown, N.J, for the 12th Annual Scholarship Benefit and Silent Auction, on Thursday, April 11, 2013, honoring Summit resident Kevin Cummings. The evening raised more than $150,000 from the evening's dinner, silent and online auctions, and 50/50 raffle that directly supports student scholarships at CSE.

Cummings, president and chief executive officer of Investors Bank, was honored in recognition of his success in transforming Investors Bank into a growth company. Cummings received the Ernst & Young Entrepreneur of the Year 2011 New Jersey Award. He received his Bachelor of Arts in economics from Middlebury College, Middlebury, Vt. and his Master in Business Administration from Rutgers University School of Business. He is also a certified public accountant.

Cummings' dedication to education and non-profit organizations embodies his commitment to service and exemplifies the mission of the College of Saint Elizabeth. He serves on the board of trustees of St. Peter's Prep, a Jesuit high school in Jersey City, N.J., and is the former chair of the board and current trustee of the Summit Speech School, a trustee of The Scholarship Fund for Inner-City Children, the chair of the board and member of the executive committee of the New Jersey Bankers Association. He is a board member of the Independent College Fund of New Jersey and a member of the Development Leadership Council of Morris Habitat for Humanity.
