Susan Mello of Essex Fells has been appointed to the board of trustees at the College of Saint Elizabeth.

MORRISTOWN, NJ (02/12/2013)(readMedia)-- The College of Saint Elizabeth (CSE), 2 Convent Road, Morristown, N.J., is pleased to announce the appointment of Susan M. Mello, Essex Fells, N.J., to the board of trustees.

Susan M. Mello, J.D., LL.M., daughter of CSE alumna, Etta Marie Rizzuto, '51, chemistry major, received a Bachelor of Science in Economics from Cook College, Rutgers University, New Brunswick, N.J., in 1985. She continued her education at Rutgers University School of Law where she received a Juris Doctor (J.D.) with High Honors in 1993. In 1997, she received a Masters of Laws (LL.M.) in Taxation from New York University School of Law, New York, N.Y.

Currently, she is Principal of Prudential Real Estate Investors, Madison, N.J., a real estate investment management firm. She began her career in 1993 as a Partner at McCarter & English, LLP advising clients on tax and corporate aspects of mergers and acquisitions including structuring and planning tax-free and taxable reorganizations. She is a member of the Urban Land Institute, International Council of Shopping Centers, National Multi-Housing Council and the American Bar Association. She is an adjunct professor of law at Rutgers University of Law. She serves on the Board of Trustees for the Center for Italian Culture, South Orange, N.J. She is admitted to the New Jersey and Pennsylvania State Bar Associations.
