Swampscott Native Earns Scholarship From FBI Foundation

EASTON, MA (01/05/2012)(readMedia)-- Recently, Swampscott resident Kirstin Vinal, a  sophomore criminal justice major at Stonehill College in Easton, received a $2,500 J. Edgar Hoover Memorial Scholarship from the Former Agents of the FBI Foundation. Stonehill College alumnus Paul Daly '62, who was an FBI agent for 32 years, presented the scholarship to Vinal in a recent visit back to campus.

The Foundation is an affiliate of the Society of Former Special Agents of the FBI. Upon his retirement, Daly was presented with the opportunity to award a scholarship to any college or university of his choice, in which he choose his alma mater.
