HERKIMER, NY (03/09/2012)(readMedia)-- Herkimer County Community College has named diver Sylvia Ross to the Green and Gold Club for February 2012.
Ross is a Business: Accounting freshman from Holland Patent. She was named to the 2nd team All-Region in one meter and three meter diving. She also set school records and Mountain Valley Conference records in both the one and three meter. Coach Vicki Brown said, "Considering that Herkimer does not have a three meter board, this is an incredible accomplishment and truly speaks to Sylvia's confidence and immense talent. She is willing to challenge herself and step outside her comfort zone." HCCC's Green and Gold Club honors an outstanding male and female athlete each month.
