TRAFFIC ADVISORY: Authority Announces Tractor Trailer Accident Southbound Between Int. 21 and 20
ALBANY, NY (10/12/2009)(readMedia)-- The New York State Thruway Authority has just announced a tractor trailer accident along I-87 southbound has closed all lanes at milepost 109.5.
Milepost 109.5 southbound is between Interchange 21 (Catskill, Cairo) and Interchange 20 (Saugerties, Route 32) along I-87.
All lanes are currently blocked at this location. Southbound lanes will be reopened as soon as conditions safely permit.
State Police, Thruway Authority maintenance crews and emergency personnel are on the scene at this time.
The Authority appreciates motorists patience and understanding during this closure.
