TRAFFIC ADVISORY: I-95 Lane Closures Scheduled

NEW ROCHELLE, NY (12/19/2011)(readMedia)-- Temporary lane closures will take place on I-95 (New England Thruway) northbound for pavement repair work on a bridge between 10 a.m. and 2 p.m. Tuesday, December 20, 2011, the New York State Thruway Authority announced today.

Middle and left lanes will be closed at around milepost 4.3 northbound between Exit 14 (Hutchinson River Parkway South) and Exit 15 (New Rochelle, US Route 1).

Variable Message Boards and Highway Advisory Radio 530 AM will be activated to advise motorists of the lane closures. Due to the expected delays, motorists are also advised to consider alternate routes.

The Thruway Authority appreciates motorists' patience at this time.
