TRAFFIC ADVISORY UPDATE: Authority Announces Tractor Trailer Accident Southbound Between Int. 21 and 20
ALBANY, NY (10/12/2009)(readMedia)-- The New York State Thruway Authority has just announced all southbound lanes along I-87 at milepost 109.5. have been reopened. The lanes had been closed earlier this evening due to a tractor trailer accident .
Milepost 109.5 southbound is between Interchange 21 (Catskill, Cairo) and Interchange 20 (Saugerties, Route 32) along I-87.
Motorists heading southbound along I-87 in this area are reminded that residual delays may exist. As always, motorists are reminded to remain alert and drive with caution.
The Authority appreciates motorists patience and understanding during this closure.
