Take a Swing Against Lung Disease with a Gift of Golf
NASHVILLE, TN (11/23/2009)(readMedia)-- The American Lung Association's Golf Tour Book is truly the gift that keeps on giving all year long. Valid from January through December, the 2010 "Lung Book" includes discounts on over 2000 rounds of golf at more than 470 fine courses in Tennessee, Kentucky, Indiana, Illinois, Iowa, Minnesota, Michigan and Wisconsin.
Many of the participating courses allow each bookholder multiple rounds; some permit one round a month; and 112 clubs allow unlimited play. Tennessee golfers are sure to enjoy playing the 13 additional Tennessee courses that have been added for 2010.
"During this time of financial constraints, Golf Tour Books offer a great way for golfers to save money on their favorite hobby, while helping the American Lung Association fight lung disease and save lives," said Carolyn Embry, who coordinates the program. Proceeds from sale of the golf books support medical research, community health programs, advocacy and services for people suffering from lung ailments.
"The golf books make perfect stocking stuffers, thank-you gifts for business associates or presents for golfing friends and family members," said Embry.
Golf Tour Books may be purchased for $25 a piece, and orders placed now will be filled in time for holiday giving.
