Taqqia Ronco of Bangor, ME to Showcase Fashion Collection at Upscale Mall

NEWTON, MA (04/20/2010)(readMedia)-- Taqqia Ronco, a resident of Bangor, ME and graduate of Bangor High School, will showcase three of her original and inspiring fashion designs in a runway-style fashion show at Natick's upscale mall, Natick Collection. The show will be held Thursday, June 3 at 7 pm at Natick Collection, 1245 Worcester Street, Natick, MA.

Taqqia, a senior fashion design student at Mount Ida College, was one of four Boston-area student designers selected to participate in the fashion event, known as the Form to Fashion Grand Finale event.

The featured designers were chosen during Natick Collection's Form to Fashion, a series of exhibitions of designs produced by more than forty students from four Boston-area design schools. Each of the four schools was given three weeks to display pieces from their students' design collections. Natick Collection customers voted on their favorite looks from each exhibition. The four top vote winners – one from each school – are featured in the Form to Fashion Grand Finale event.

As part of the Form to Fashion Grand Finale event, Taqqia will also display one of her garment designs in the Neiman Marcus storefront windows for two weeks.
