ST. AUGUSTINE, FL (06/30/2014)(readMedia)-- St. Augustine-based band Telepathic Lines and Neptune Beach-based visual artist Sean Mahan will celebrate the release of a recent collaboration to support ten new songs by Telepathic Lines on Aug. 1 at the Crisp-Ellert Art Museum.

Instead of the conventional cd/vinyl release, the band asked Mahan to contribute an original painting as album artwork to be made into limited-edition fine art prints. The resulting release features an 8x8 print of the painting on thin maple, a 2x8 bookmark on maple and a download code for the songs.

The event takes place at CEAM, 48 Sevilla St., from 5 p.m. to 9 p.m. as part of downtown St. Augustine's First Friday Art Walk.

The exhibit features prints from the release, as well as recent paintings by Mahan. In addition, downtown St. Augustine record shop toneVendor is curating an exhibit of select vinyl record jackets featuring Mahan's artwork. Jake Brown from Hear Hear DJ Services deejays from 5 p.m. to 8 p.m., and Telepathic Lines plays at 8 p.m.

The exhibit moves to toneVendor, 81-D King St. in St. Augustine on August 2, where it will remain on display throughout August.
