ROCHESTER, NY (10/21/2014)(readMedia)-- Nazareth College is excited to welcome the 10th Annual Greater Rochester Teen Book Festival (TBF) back to campus on Saturday, May 16, 2015. To keep the event free to attend, TBF is holding its annual Read-A-Thon on Saturday, November 1, 2014 from 1 to 5 p.m. Anyone over the age of 12 can participate in the event and a minimum of $20 donation is required to read. The event will take place at Barnes & Noble at 3349 Monroe Avenue, Rochester, N.Y. 14618. For more information, please contact Stephanie A. Squicciarini at 585-223-9091.

Participants will be able to meet author Laurie Halse Anderson, who will be present for a reading/presentation and book signing beginning at 3:30 p.m. This year's fundraising goal is $10,000. If the goal is met, then readers can choose a crazy stunt for the TBF committee to perform. In previous years, the committee colored their hair and another year they wore prom dresses and sang to the authors during TBF Author Welcome Dinner. Door prizes and a free TBF shirt and a book will be given to every reader. The teen who raises the most for the Read-A-Thon will win two tickets to the very exclusive TBF Author Welcome Dinner the evening before TBF.
