The Awakening Common-Unity Committee Kicks Off Lecture Series
Two Experts Talk on Childhood Nutrition; Diabetes, and Obesity Epidemic
STAUNTON, VA (02/07/2010)(readMedia)-- Two experts in the field of nutrition will present the informational seminar, "What is Happening to My Child Health" on February 23rd @ The Staunton Public Library. The presentation to begin @ 6:30pm in the second floor meeting room will examine "factors that inhibit learning, health, and normal development; how our health has been stolen", writes Don Wetsel, an Educational Kinesiology International Faculty and Advanced Clinical Training Graduate of Nutritional Response Testing.
Joining Mr. Wetsel for the presentation, "What is Happening to My Child Health" is Dr. Avtar Moore who has given numerous talks and media interviews about nutrition and osteopathy. The two presenters bring a wide range of expereinces and over 30 years of practice in the health and nutrition field. They will explore the transformation of food and how industrialized, reconstituted and refined foods rob your children of micronutrients necessary for their proper immune systems functioning. Methods that parents can use to create a healthy future for their children such as advanced nutritional tools and intentional movement will be analyzed.
