'The Beautiful Fantastic' showing Thursday at Trine University

ANGOLA, IN (10/16/2017) Trine University's Overlooked Film Festival will continue this Thursday, Oct. 19, with a showing of "The Beautiful Fantastic."

The Overlooked Film Festival gives members of Trine's local community the opportunity to watch free films that were not released locally or that were generally "overlooked" at the time of their release. All films will be shown at 7 p.m. at the Fabiani Theater in the Rick L. and Vicki L. James University Center.

Concessions will be sold outside of the theater prior to the showing by sisters of Phi Sigma sorority. Fabiani has a maximum capacity of 320 guests, so it's recommended that attendees with specific seating preferences arrive early.

Rated PG, "This Beautiful Fantastic" is a new-age fairy tale that follows the unlikely friendship between a reclusive young woman with aspirations to be a children's book author and her widower neighbor. This story is set in a beautiful garden in the heart of London. When Bella Brown is forced by her landlord to care for her neglected garden, she meets widower Alfie Stephenson, who helps Brown to revive her garden.
