The Honor Society of Phi Kappa Phi Induction

On Saturday, Dec. 2, thirteen new students were initiated into the Honor Society of Phi Kappa Phi, the nation's oldest and most selective all-discipline honor society. The Society's mission is to recognize and promote academic excellence in all fields of higher education and to engage the community of scholars in service to others. Presiding over the ceremony were Dr. Linda Steele, chapter president; Dr. James Saku, chapter vice president; Dr. Eric Moore, chapter secretary; and Dr. Matthew Crawford, chapter treasurer.

Undergraduate initiates were as follows: Ryan Adams, Ava Breighner, Jillian Davis, Elizabeth Emerick, Alivia Melius and Cierra Wilson. Graduate initiates were as follows: Ruth Georg, Briana Gibson, Melanie Hebert, Flory Medrano, Jeremiah Rohrbaugh, Julie Thomas and Rebecca Vaughan. Dr. William Wetherholt was the faculty initiate, and Lori Herringa was the alumni initiate.
