The Middle TN Fight for Air Walk Is May 19th
NASHVILLE TN (05/14/2012)(readMedia)-- The American Lung Association's Middle TN Fight For Air Walk, presented by INSPIRIS is this Saturday.There is still time to register as a team or individual for the May 19, 2012 non-competitive 5K Walk with a short route as well.
The Middle TN Fight for Air Walk will take place at Public Square Park in downtown Nashville. Check-in begins at 8:30 a.m. and the Walk begins at 10:00 a.m. and entertainment will end at 12:15.
Join Honorary Chairperson, Rudy Kalis, as we walk to raise funds for lung health programs, advocacy and much needed research.
Participants will have the opportunity to meet others in the community, visit a variety of educational booths, have a light breakfast and lunch, listen to live music ,and allow children to interact with others at the Kid's Zone, all while supporting a great cause.
Early morning music will be provided by DJ Dude and the live concert following the walk will feature: Lindsay Bruce, Tamaray, Suzi Oravec, and Alicia Michelli.
Proceeds from the Middle TN Fight for Air Walk will go to lung health programs and services and much needed research. Members of the community are invited to register a team and/or themselves at www.middletnwalk.org.

The American Lung Association in Tennessee's Middle TN Fight for Air Walk is a NashVitality event, designated as an opportunity for healthy, active and green living and learning for Nashville residents and visitors.
