Thomas Marino of Endicott Honored for Academic Achievement at University of Scranton Commencement

SCRANTON, PA (06/14/2012)(readMedia)-- Thomas Michael Marino, Endicott, N.Y., was among the 65 students honored by The University of Scranton during its undergraduate Class Night ceremony. The Jesuit university awarded outstanding members of the Class of 2012 for academic achievement and service.
Marino received the Excellence in Biochemistry Award. He earned a bachelor of science, magna cum laude, in biochemistry with a minor in mathematics.
Marino was member of the Alpha Lambda Delta Honor Society and the Health Professions Organization. He was also an academic tutor, a member of The University roller hockey team and a volunteer at the Leahy Food Pantry, Big Brothers/Big Sisters Program and Clothing Closet.
After graduation, Marino will attend SUNY Upstate Medical University in Syracuse, N.Y.
He graduated from Union-Endicott High School, Endicott, N.Y.
