Three From Football Chosen for Awards
Three Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute (RPI) student-athletes have been chosen for weekly football awards by the Liberty League, it has been announced. Senior Nick Schlatz has earned Offensive Performer of the Week, sophomore Bryan Hayes has been selected as the Defensive Performer of the Week and sophomore Johnny Ramsdell has garnered Special Teams Performer of the Week. Each helped the Engineers defeat the University of Rochester 35-21 in a league contest on Saturday.
