Three Named to Women's Soccer All-MIAA

The Michigan Intercollegiate Athletic Association (MIAA) has announced their end of year women's soccer awards with three members of the Trine University team selected to All-MIAA status.

Heading lining the trio was sophomore Abby Robison of Dayton, Ohio, who appeared as a first team member in her first season being named All-MIAA. Robison was selected as a forward after leading the team offensively through the regular season. She posted team highs in goals (9) and points (21). During MIAA play she was tied for eighth in the conference with seven points including three goals and one assist.

Two members of the team were selected as second team members, making return appearances to the All-MIAA lists.

Senior Olivia Butterworth of Murray, Kentucky, made her third appearance on an All-MIAA list after being named one of four midfielders on second team. Despite missing much of the non-conference season due to injury, Butterworth returned for the conference slate and made an immediate impact. She finished conference season with five points including two goals and an assist.

Classmate Olivia Argentieri of East Amherst, New York, made her second appearance after earning a spot as a defender on the second team. On the offensive side of the ball Argentieri finished the season fourth on the team with eight points including two goals and four assists.

Both second team members helped to create a strong defensive front for the Thunder during conference play. The team allowed just one goal per game during MIAA play while posting four shutout performances.
