Thruway Authority Announces E-ZPass Entry Lane Closure at Interchange 31 (Utica)

Motorists May Experience Minor Delays

ALBANY, NY (06/19/2009)(readMedia)-- The New York State Thruway Authority today announced a 5 MPH E-ZPass entrance lane at Interchange 31 (Utica) will be closed for repairs beginning at 7 a.m. on Monday, June 22, 2009. It is anticipated the work will be completed by noon on Thursday, July 2, 2009.

Motorists are advised that minor delays may occur, particularly during peak travel times, as a result of the work.

The Authority will activate a Dynamic Message Sign (DMS) to inform motorists of the construction and any delays that may occur.

The Authority appreciates motorists' patience and understanding while this essential repair takes place.
