Thruway Authority Announces Exit 21 Ramp on I-190 Northbound to Temporarily Close for Maintenance

ALBANY, NY (04/02/2009)(readMedia)-- The New York State Thruway Authority announced the Exit 21 ramp (Buffalo Avenue) on I-190 northbound will be temporarily closed on Sunday, April 5, 2009 from 6 a.m. until 10 a.m. due to a maintenance project, weather permitting.

A signed detour will be in place advising northbound motorists to take Exit 22 (Route 62- Niagara Falls Boulevard). Motorists should proceed left at the exit and then left on to I-190 southbound returning to Buffalo Avenue.

The Authority appreciates motorists' patience and understanding while this essential project takes place.
