Thruway Authority Announces Fuel Services Restored at Ardsley Travel Plaza

ALBANY, NY (04/12/2010)(readMedia)-- The New York State Thruway Authority has announced fuel services have been restored at the Ardsley Travel Plaza. Fuel services were temporarily suspended earlier this afternoon due to equipment problems.

The Ardsley Travel Plaza is located on I-87 northbound, between Interchange 6A (Yonkers) and Interchange 7 (Ardsley), at milepost 6.

During the fuel suspension, restaurant and restroom services remained available to motorists.

The Authority had activated Variable Message Signs (VMS) to alert motorists of the temporary disruption in fuel service at the Ardsley Travel Plaza.

The Authority appreciates motorists' patience during this unplanned repair.
