Thruway Authority Announces Fuel Services Restored at Malden Travel Plaza

ALBANY, NY (05/11/2010)(readMedia)-- The New York Thruway Authority today announced gasoline fuel services have been restored at the Malden Travel Plaza, located on I-87 northbound between Interchanges 20 (Saugerties) and 21 (Catskill), at milepost 103.

While construction and renovations to the facility have been completed, diesel fuel will not be available to motorists until early the week of May 17, 2010.

Variable Message Signs (VMS) on the mainline prior to Malden have been changed to reflect the availability of fuel. Gasoline service has been restored; diesel fuel will be restored next week.

Restaurant and restroom services were not impacted by this project.

The Authority appreciated motorists' patience while this necessary work took place.
