Thruway Authority Announces Fuel Services Suspended at Scottsville Travel Plaza Beginning Monday, May 3
During Fuel Renovations, Restaurant & Restroom Services Will Be Available
ALBANY, NY (04/30/2010)(readMedia)-- The New York State Thruway Authority has announced fuel services at the Scottsville Travel Plaza along I-90 will be temporarily suspended beginning at 8 a.m. on Monday, May 3, due to scheduled renovations.
The Scottsville Travel Plaza is located along I-90 eastbound at milepost 366, between Interchange 47 (Rochester, Leroy) and Interchange 46 (Rochester, Corning).
During the scheduled renovations at Scottsville, restaurant and restroom facilities will remain available. Fuel service at the Scottsville Travel Plaza is expected to resume Friday, May 14, weather permitting.
Eastbound travelers in need of fuel are advised to stop at the Pembroke Travel Plaza, located at milepost 397, between Interchange 48A (Pembroke, Medina) and Interchange 48 (Batavia). The Pembroke Travel Plaza is about 31 miles prior to the Scottsville Travel Plaza.
Additionally, eastbound travelers in need of fuel are advised to stop at the Clifton Springs Travel Plaza, located at milepost 337, between Interchange 43 (Manchester, Palmyra) and Interchange 42 (Geneva, Lyons). The Clifton Springs Travel Plaza is about 29 miles east of the Scottsville Travel Plaza.
The Authority will activate Variable Message Signs (VMS) to alert motorists of the temporary disruption in fuel service at the Scottsville Travel Plaza.
Work at the Scottsville Travel Plaza includes renovation of the canopy at the fueling station, including the installation of new lighting and fire suppression system.
