Thruway Authority Announces Fuel Services Temporarily Suspended at New Baltimore Travel Plaza
Restaurant and Restroom Facilities to Remain Available
ALBANY, NY (01/21/2010)(readMedia)-- The New York State Thruway Authority today announced northbound fuel services are temporarily unavailable at the New Baltimore Travel Plaza, located on I-87 northbound between Interchange 21B (Coxsackie) and Exit 21A for the Berkshire Connector, at milepost 127, due to unscheduled maintenance activities.
Restaurant and restroom services, as well as southbound fuel services, will remain available to motorists.
Northbound motorists in need of fuel are advised to stop at the Plattekill Travel Plaza, located on I-87 northbound approximately 62 miles prior to the New Baltimore Travel Plaza, between Interchanges 17 (Newburgh I-84) and 18 (New Paltz), at milepost 65. The next travel plaza beyond the New Baltimore Travel Plaza is the Pattersonville Travel Plaza, located approximately 41 miles past the New Baltimore Travel Plaza on I-90 westbound between Interchanges 26 (Schenectady I-890 & Route 5S) and 27 (Amsterdam Route 30), at milepost 168.
The Authority has activated its Dynamic Message Signs (DMS) to inform northbound motorists of the suspension of fuel services at the New Baltimore Travel Plaza.
The Authority appreciates motorists' patience while this necessary work takes place.
