Thruway Authority Announces Maintenance Scheduled for Cleveland Drive Bridge

Motorists Encouraged to Plan for Delays Beginning at 7 p.m. this Evening

ALBANY, NY (02/24/2010)(readMedia)-- The New York State Thruway Authority has announced that bridge maintenance on the Cleveland Drive Bridge has been scheduled for this evening, Wednesday, February 24, 2010, beginning at 7 p.m.

The Cleveland Drive Bridge is located along I-90 at milepost 420.6 westbound between Interchanges 50 (Niagara Falls, I-290) and 50A (Cleveland Drive).

To complete the bridge maintenance, the right lane along I-90 westbound and the left lane of the I-290 eastbound ramp will be closed from approximately 7 p.m. this evening until approximately 6 a.m. on Thursday, February 25, 2010.

During the maintenance activities, motorists traveling along I-290 eastbound should plan for delays and watch for slow or stopped traffic.
