Thruway Authority Announces Pavement Repairs on I-84 to Necessitate Eastbound Lane Closures
Motorists May Experience Delays
The New York State Thruway Authority today announced pavement repairs will necessitate eastbound lane closures on I-84 beginning at 4 a.m. on Monday, November 2, 2009, weather permitting.
On Monday, November 2, and from Wednesday, November 4 through Friday, November 6, from 4 a.m. until 3 p.m., a single eastbound lane closure will be in place at varying locations between Exit 13 (Poughkeepsie, Peekskill, US 9) and Exit 15 (Lime Kiln Road), weather permitting.
The Authority will activate its Dynamic Message Signs (DMS) and Highway Advisory Radio (HAR) 1610 AM to advise motorists of the closure.
The Authority appreciates motorists' patience while this pavement repair work takes place.
