Thruway Authority Announces Pavement Repairs on I-84 to Necessitate Westbound Lane Closures

Motorists May Experience Delays on Friday, February 19

ALBANY, NY (02/18/2010)(readMedia)--

The New York State Thruway Authority today announced pavement repairs will necessitate westbound lane closures on I-84 beginning at 9 a.m. on Friday, February 19, 2010, weather permitting.

On Friday, February 19, 2010, from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m., a single westbound lane closure will be in place approximately one half mile west of the Connecticut state line.

The Authority will activate Dynamic Message Signs (DMS), where available, and Highway Advisory Radio (HAR) 1610 AM to advise motorists of the repairs and resulting lane closure.

The Authority appreciates motorists' patience while this pavement repair work takes place.
