Thruway Authority Announces Public Auction for September 15

The New York State Thruway Authority will hold its third public auction of the year at 9 a.m. Wednesday, September 15, 2010 at the Authority's Albany division, just north of Thruway Interchange 22 (Selkirk, Routes 144 & 396), on Route 144 (River Road) in Selkirk.

A variety of items including auto and truck parts and accessories, cameras and camera equipment, and used minivans, sedans, SUV's, pickups, and dump trucks will be available. Bidders will also find electrical motors, tires, lawn mowers, a lane scrubber, air compressors, impact attenuators, snow plows, an assortment of trailers and a hydraulic excavator.

The Authority will be using a bidder registration process beginning with this auction. Anyone intending to bid on any item MUST REGISTER and obtain a bidder registration number issued prior to the start of each auction. One must have a valid bidder registration number for a bid to be accepted. Registration will be held at the auction site on the day of the auction.
