Thruway Authority Announces Temporary Lane Closures at Tappan Zee Bridge Toll Barrier

ALBANY, NY (02/16/2010)(readMedia)-- The New York State Thruway Authority announced E-ZPass repair work at the Tappan Zee Bridge Toll Barrier will necessitate the closure of two Higher Speed E-ZPass toll lanes on Wednesday, February 17, 2010, weather permitting.

On Wednesday, February 17, 2010, from 10 a.m. until 2 p.m., the Higher Speed E-ZPass toll lanes, lane numbers 11 and 12 located at the far left of the toll barrier, will be closed to make repairs to lane equipment.

The Authority will activate its Dynamic Message Signs (DMS) and Highway Advisory Radio (HAR) 530 AM to notify motorists of the closures.

The Authority appreciates motorists' patience while this essential work takes place.
