City Hopes to Cage and Remove a Loose Krampus Before the October 29th Event
STAUNTON, VA (10/19/2010)(readMedia)-- The Staunton Parks and Recreation Department will be hosting a Haunted Woods in Montgomery Hall Park on Friday, October 29th. The tours are guided by park staff and will begin at 7pm and run until 10pm. Pre-sale tickets are now available at Montgomery Hall Park for $3.00. Although the Department expects the event to come off without a hitch, the problem of the Krampus still remains unresolved. The Haunted Woods is not for children or anyone else who cannot distinguish between real and make-believe. Additionally, children or teens who have nightmares are discouraged from attending. Soccer Shelter Entertainment will be provided by Crimson Gypsy, The Queen City Fire Hoopers and Cutch Tuttle and the Deliverance Band. Refreshements are available for purchase at the shelter. Due to the limited number of tickets, advance ticket purchasing is encouraged. Event-goers will need to wear good walking shoes for the 1/2 mile trail. A hayride will be provided to transport back to the Soccer Shelter.
