Top Accordion Players Win Iowa State Fair Awards

DES MOINES, IA (08/16/2018) (readMedia)-- The top accordion players from the Midwest squared off in the Accordion Competition judged Monday at the 2018 Iowa State Fair.

Susan Kroeker of Audubon claimed first place in the Keyboard division while Ed Fallon of Des Moines took second.

Ian Bromgarot of Council Bluffs took third place in the Keyboard division.

The contest was part of "Rural Americana Olde Tyme Competitions" in Farm Bureau Pioneer Hall. A first prize of $5 and ribbons were awarded to each class.
