Top Dogs Take Honors at Iowa State Fair

DES MOINES, IA (08/27/2024) (readMedia)-- A Golden Retriever shown by Shelley Button of Van Meter, claimed Best in Show during the Dog Show judged Sunday, August 18, at the 2024 Iowa State Fair.

Josiah Baskett of Waverly won Best Junior Handler honors with his Shih Tzu.

In the obedience competition, Olivia Steiner of Hubbard claimed the Highest Scoring Junior Handler with her border collie and Highest Scoring Dog in Obedience went to Lisa Hill of Waukee.
